Uryu~! Its Sakutaro-kun!
While I was reading Umineko, I couldn't help but want my own little Sakutaro. He was just so adorable! When I see a plushie in an anime or visual novel, I can't help but want to sew it! I really love the way he came out. I had such a problem with his mane, though. I used a type of fake-fur for the orange parts, and it was really thick and hard to work with! But the effect is really cute, so it was worth it. And his base is made out of fleece, so he's really soft! He is the first plush I've made using a machine. I don't really know how to use one, so my mother actually did most of the machine sewing for me. He is really big, too! The Visual Novel described him as being the size of a small pillow, so I tried my best to make him around that size. That puts him at around 22 inches. He's really a perfect size! I really hope you enjoy Sakutaro. If you'd like me to put a pattern/tutorial up for him like with Yukito's puppet, just ask! |
